Job enrichment has contributed greatly to the evolving meaning of work

years however, the focus has been shifted to treat employees with respect and
give them more and more responsibility. The implementation of self-managed
teams into many companies gives employees the freedom to create their own
schedule with the team’s success being measured by results rather than the amount
of time they worked. This team approach increases creativity, motivation, and
empowers employees to reach their full potential. Overall, technology and
self-managed teams have greatly improved work over the past 50 years.

The meaning of work has evolved greatly over the past 50 years. Although
